我有一只狗叫小五。今年已经八岁了。爸爸，妈妈和我都很爱它。它喜欢天天走来走去。有时候它会走到前面的商店，有时候它会走到后面的饭馆。小五已经好几天没回家了。我们去商店没看见它，去饭馆也没看见它。我去工作的时候，爸爸妈妈就去外面问有没有人看到小五。

I have a dog whose name is Xiao Wu. It is eight years old this year. Dad, Mom and I love it very much. It likes to walk around every day. Dad is a doctor and Mom is a teacher. Dad works in the hospital. Mom works at school. Dad drives to the hospital to work. Mom takes taxi to work at the school. Mom and Dad go to work at eight in the morning. I love them very much. They love me too and said that I am a good daughter.

我不喜欢看电视。我很喜欢看书和学习汉语。我想做一个老师。爸爸妈妈听了后，很高兴。他们给我买了很多汉语书。很多时候，我在家里看汉语书，多学习汉字。我能写八十个汉字。我一个月读一本书，一年里就会看十二本汉语书了。

I don’t like watching TV. I really like reading books and learning Chinese. I want to be a teacher. Mom and Dad are very happy when they heard this. They bought a lot of Chinese books for me. I often read Chinese books at home, and learn more Chinese characters. I can write eighty Chinese characters. I read a book a month, and I will read twelve Chinese books a year.

我在学校里认识了很多同学。我有四个好朋友。我们天天都是上午八点去上学。我和我的朋友都是九岁。
