Story 2 我在商店的一天

今天中午下大雨了，我想去商店买些衣服，因为那里人会少一些。在商店里，有一个男人叫我，“小姐，您好。请看这些漂亮的衣服。”我看了十分钟，看见很多漂亮的衣服，我都很喜欢。

Jīntiān zhōngwǔ xià dàyǔle, wǒ xiǎng qù shāngdiàn mǎi xiē yīfú, yīnwèi nàlǐ rén huì shǎo yīxiē. Zài shāngdiàn lǐ, yǒu yīgè nánrén jiào wǒ,“xiǎojiě, nín hǎo. Qǐng kàn zhèxiē piàoliang de yīfú.” Wǒ kànle shí fēnzhōng, kànjiàn hěnduō piàoliang de yīfú, wǒ dū hěn xǐhuān.

It was raining at noon today, I wanted to go to the store to buy some clothes because there will be fewer people there. In the store, there was a man calling out to me, “Miss, hello. Please look at these beautiful clothes.” I browsed the shop for ten minutes and saw a lot of wonderful clothes that I like very much.

我：这件衣服多少钱？

Wǒ: Zhè jiàn yīfú duōshǎo qián?

Me: How much is this dress?

男人：这是七十五块。

Nánrén: Zhè shì qīshíwǔ kuài.

Man: This is seventy-five dollars.

我：前面的衣服呢？

Wǒ: Qiánmiàn de yīfú ne?

Me: What about the dress in front?

男人：那是七十块。

Nánrén: Nà shì qīshí kuài.

Man: That’s seventy dollars.

我：后面的衣服呢？

Wǒ: Hòumiàn de yīfú ne?

Me: What about the dress at the back?

男人：那是四十六块。

Nánrén: Nà shì sìshíliù kuài.

Man: That’s forty-six dollars.

我：好！我买这件吧。

Wǒ: Hǎo! Wǒ mǎi zhè jiàn ba.

Me: That’s great! I will buy this one.

男人：小姐，您看这件也很漂亮啊。

Nánrén: Xiǎojiě, nín kàn zhè jiàn yě hěn piàoliang a.

Man: Miss, you see this one is very nice too.

我：对不起，我没钱了，今天不买那么多了。

Wǒ: Duìbùqǐ, wǒ méi qiánle, jīntiān bú mǎi nàme duōle.

Me: Sorry, I have no more money, I won’t buy so many today.

男人：您住在哪儿？明天能回来买吗？

Nánrén: Nín zhù zài nǎ’er? Míngtiān néng huílái mǎi ma?

Man: Where do you live? Can you come back here tomorrow to buy it?

我：好啊。我明天买。

Wǒ: Hǎo a. Wǒ míngtiān mǎi.

Me: OK. I will buy it tomorrow.

男人：你会回来吗？

Nánrén: Nǐ huì huílái ma?

Man: Will you be back here?

我：我会。

Wǒ: Wǒ huì.

Me: I will.

男人：那就好，再见。

Nánrén: Nà jiù hǎo, zàijiàn.

Man: Ok, goodbye.

我：再见。

Wǒ: Zàijiàn.

Me: Goodbye.

我买了几件衣服后，便出去看是不是还在下雨。不下雨了，我能坐出租车回家做饭。今天我儿子回家吃饭，我会做他喜欢的菜。

Wǒ mǎile jǐ jiàn yīfú hòu, biàn chūqù kàn shì bùshì hái zàixià yǔ. Xiànzài méi xià yǔle, wǒ néng zuò chūzū chē huí jiā zuò fàn. Jīntiān wǒ ér zǐ huí jiā chīfàn, wǒ huì zuò tā xǐhuān de cài.

After I bought a few clothes, I went out to see if it’s still raining. It stopped raining, I can take a taxi home to cook. Today my son will come home, I will cook the dishes that he likes.
